Please assist the school in ensuring that your child is at school on time. Children should be at school by 07:30 each day. Make sure that their uniform is correct.
· Sports clothes may be worn on PT days and on sports days.
· Only a neat school uniform, neatly cut hair with no jewellery, make-up or painted nails is allowed. Children wearing other odd pieces of clothing making them untidy will receive due punishment.
Monday is school assembly, which is compulsory for all learners to attend and a number of learners are dropped off or arrive late thus missing this important school event.
The dentistry team will be visiting the school with their Mobile Clinic on 6th May 2013. Children requiring dentistry will be notified according to their examination report. Parents wishing children to see the dentist may or those children still in need of examination will be managed on the day.
Please note that Local Government will be parking their vehicles and machinery in front of the school from 17:30 to 06:30 whilst the clearing-up activities on the land next to the school takes place. Once complete the ground will be fenced-in and maintained by local government.
Kindly note that the majority of staff members will not be at school on the 9th May 2013 the day of Ascension as they have taken this religious holiday off to celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.. A very sparse skeleton staff will however be on duty at the school. Please note that the hostel will be closed from 17:30 on Wednesday 8th May and will re-open at 17:30 on Thursday 9th May.
The school will be hosting it’s annual Readathon on the 5th June 2013. You will soon receive a sponsorship form regarding this and we ask you to consider sponsoring this event. The entire will read for 30 minutes in the attempt to stimulate both reading for enjoyment and mental acuity. We look forward to your support for this occasion.
